Fat freeze technology is a non-invasive way to eliminate fat. It's a popular body contouring treatment for those who want to get rid of love handles, thigh fats, and double chin, without surgery.
In most fat freezing clinics, the treatments do not have a standard price and are only quoted upon evaluation. They are also commonly sold in a form of packages with multiple sessions. This ambiguous pricing makes people wonder... what is the true cost of fat freezing treatments?
In this blog post, we will discuss how much does fat freezing cost in Singapore and what you can expect to pay.
Compared to liposuction, fat freezing is a safe non-invasive treatment. The fat freezing procedures are simple. A membrane is laid on areas of the body with unwanted subcutaneous fat and the fat freezing machines uses a suction cup that freezes unwanted fat cells. Due to the fat's sensitivity to cold temperatures as compared to other cells in the body, the intense cold temperature would kill fat cells and cause cell apoptosis (fat cells death) leaving the other tissues unharmed. The dead and damaged fat cells then get flushed out of your body by your immune system in standard natural ways.
Fat freeze causes an average fat reduction of 25% of the total body fat. Each area of the body is treated for approximately 45 minutes. Maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle will help maximise the effects of the treatment, and speed up your body's ability to excrete the dead fat cells.
The cost varies across various fat-freezing places. Most places charge based on the number of applicators used and the number of sessions bought.
PS. We do not support this package model because it is not ethical. Read on to find out how you are being tricked into trial sessions and packages.
The number of applicators needed is based on the size of your treatment area. For smaller areas like the double chin and armpit fats, only one applicator is needed. For larger areas such as love handles or thighs, up to 2 large applicators can be used.
In other stores, the pricing model for a single session goes like this: 1 applicator ($100), 2 applicators ($300) and 4 applicators ($400).
Prices for places without doctors are often under $50 for the trial, followed by $3000 for 10 sessions ($300/session). In places with doctors, there's normally a higher treatment price. The trial tends to be around $100, followed by $2500 for 5 sessions ($500/session).
In places that offer a $28 customised fat freeze trial, this typically happens...
They explain that the $28 trial only allows you to use one small suction cup, which is not suitable for large areas. If you want to freeze fat in bigger areas like your stomach, it will cost an additional $500.
Whether you take the $500 offer or not - they're subsequently going to put you in a "consult room" and pressure you into buying a package.
At Kosme Aesthetics, we believe in a clear pricing model.
Our mission is to make hard-selling and big packages a thing of the past.
So... Here is our pricing model...
...$0 for the first trial for 1 applicator
...$0 for the second trial for 1 applicator
And then $380 (2 sessions) if you want to continue sessions on a monthly basis. You only pay once a month, so there is no need to fork out thousands of dollars and have to explain to your angry spouse.
So, what about the number of applicators used? We based that on the area where you want to remove excess fats. We use the maximum number of applicators needed for that area to get rid of the maximum amount of subcutaneous fats.
We got tired of all the bad actors in the beauty industry, so we decided to let people experience our treatment for free before they pay for subsequent treatments (And yes, even with this business model, we still manage to make money).
We may be naive... But we believe it's possible for ethical players to make money serving our clients well...
