How does Fat Freeze work?

The process of cryolipolysis is simple. A membrane is laid on areas of the body with excess fat and the machine uses a suction cup that freezes cells. Due to the fat's sensitivity to cold temperatures as compared to other cells in the body, the intense cold temperature would cause fat cell death leaving the other tissues unharmed. The dead and damaged cells then get flushed out of your body by your immune system in standard natural ways.

It causes an average reduction of 25% of the total body fat. Each area of the body is treated for approximately 45 minutes. Maintaining healthy lifestyle will help maximise the effects of the treatment, and speed up your body's ability to excrete the dead cells.

The cost varies across various fat-freezing places. Most places charge based on number of applicators used and number of sessions bought.

Prices based on number of applicators

‍

The number applicators needed is based on the size of your target area. For smaller areas like the armpits, only one applicator is needed. For larger areas such as love handles or thighs, up to 2 large applicators can be used.

In other stores, the pricing model for a single session goes like this: 1 applicator ($100), 2 applicators ($300) and 4 applicators ($400).

Prices of trials and packages

Prices for places without doctors are often under $50 for the trial, followed by $3000 for 10 sessions ($300/session). In places with doctors, there's normally a higher treatment price. The trial tends to be around $100, followed by $2500 for 5 sessions ($500/session).

Unnecessary top ups

In places that offer a $28 trials, this typically happens...

They explain that the $28 trial only allows you to use one small suction cup, which is not suitable for large areas. If you want to target bigger areas like your stomach, it will cost an additional $500.

Whether you take the $500 offer or not - they're subsequently going to put you in a "consult room" and pressure you into buying a package.

So, what about the number of applicators used? We based that on the area where you want to remove excess fats on. We use the maximum number of applicators needed for that area to get rid of the maximum amount of subcutaneous fats.
